Greetings Folks,

This Sunday, we’ll be looking at Ecclesiastes 5:1-7. What does it mean to honor the Lord? To worship Him?

In this passage, Solomon examines these same things. Moving from what has been his more ’secular’ examination of the world, chapter 5 opens with man’s relation to God.

First up is worship and our steps. What does Solomon mean by “Guard your steps”? What does it mean today, for you and I? Is worship something we do on Sunday only?

Following this is the question on vows. Do you make any vows beyond marriage today? Does it even apply to us now? Solomon also agrees with James – our tongues are fraught with potential to lead us into trouble.

So, in preparation for Sunday, read over Ecclesiastes 5:1-7. Ponder these questions and I pray that the Lord of Heaven would be honored in our lives – in our speech and in our steps.
