Tests from God
Listen as Pastor Lee leads us through James 1:12-18 and the subject of tests and trials. There are some difficult questions a serious Christian must face. One of these is “Why are we tempted to evil ? Why doesn’t God protect me?” If we haven’t heard the question asked, we know that surely some folks, if not we ourselves, have posed something very similar.
James helps us to realize the difference between testing and temptation, the source and the nature of temptation. God doesn’t tempt to evil. We face temptation, but we also have a God who is generous, who gives wisdom to those who ask.
Listen and be encouraged as you face various tests and temptations. May you be encouraged to ask of the Lord and remain steadfast through the test.
