We Must Take Sin Seriously

In James 2, Pastor Lee breaks the passage into two blocks, one dealing with the all to common sin of showing partiality. To show favoritism is quite common in our society, so you might ask, what’s the problem? Is God a respecter of person? No. To show partiality is to try and obtain something by the act, which becomes an act of idolatry.
