Fools for Whom?

The Preacher of Ecclesiastes offers great insight into life that’s still quite applicable today, thousands of years later. There is a great timelessness to his insight.

Ecclesiastes 6 draws a picture of what life is like driven by appetites. Great is God’s blessings upon us, but great is the danger to be ensnared by material goods. We are goaded by culture to always want more. Where is you rest? Satisfaction? In the end, are we a fool for seeking material goods, or for seeking Christ?

Solo Deo Gloria,
