Dear friends,
During the first service we will have the Lord’s Supper. I will preach on the warning passage in 1 Cor. 11:27-34 with an emphasis on how an understanding of propitiation helps us to approach the Table of the Lord with assurance and a thankful heart. Please read Exodus 25 especially verses 17-22 and consider the importance of the mercy seat as that Hebrew word and the Greek word for propitiation are very close in meaning. May you find this week that your family and friends are being propitious toward you.
