Dear friends,
How is your prayer life? Can we ever pray enough or read the Bible enough? The Lord wants us to be faithful, but like any relationship we must work at pleasing the Lord day by day. I want us to grow in our prayer life like the believers in Acts 2:42 – And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
To encourage us, pray Psalm 86 and put in the name of someone you know. It is a wonderful way to pray Scripturally. Note the basic character of God as presented in this Psalm. Is it any wonder David makes 15 requests of this kind and compassionate God?
