NEW TIME: For a livestream of the service, click here at 9 am on Sunday morning. Afterwards it will be available at the same link as a recording. If it doesn’t work properly at 9, it might mean we had a technical issue. If so, we will send out a new link to the recording.

PSALM 25:8-21
8 Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
9 He guides the humble in what is right
    and teaches them his way.
10 All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful
toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
11 For the sake of your name, Lord,
forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
12 Who, then, are those who fear the Lord?
He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.
13 They will spend their days in prosperity,
and their descendants will inherit the land.
14 The Lord confides in those who fear him;
he makes his covenant known to them.
15 My eyes are ever on the Lord,
for only he will release my feet from the snare.
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am lonely and afflicted.
17 Relieve the troubles of my heart
and free me from my anguish.
18 Look on my affliction and my distress
and take away all my sins.
19 See how numerous are my enemies
and how fiercely they hate me!
20 Guard my life and rescue me;
do not let me be put to shame,
for I take refuge in you.
21 May integrity and uprightness protect me,
because my hope, Lord, is in you.

Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness,
Opened my eyes, let me see
Beauty that makes this heart adore You,
Hope of a life spent with You.

Here I am to worship,
Here I am to bow down,
Here I am to say that you’re my God.
You’re altogether lovely,
Altogether worthy,
Altogether wonderful to me.

King of all days, so highly exalted,
Glorious in heaven above.
Humbly you came to the earth you created,
All for love’s sake became poor.

I’ll never know how much it cost,
to see my sin upon that cross.

WHO YOU SAY I AM by Ben Fielding and Reuben Morgan
Who am I that the highest King
would welcome me?
I was lost but he brought me in.
Oh, his love for me! Oh, his love for me!

Whom the Son sets free, oh, is free indeed.
I’m a child of God, yes, I am.

Free at last! He has ransomed me.
His grace runs deep.
While I was a slave to sin
Jesus died for me—yes, he died for me.

Whom the Son sets free, oh, is free indeed.
I’m a child of God, yes, I am.
In my Father’s house there’s a place for me.
I’m a child of God, yes, I am.

I am chosen, not forsaken.
I am who you say I am.
You are for me, not against me.
I am who you say I am.
I am who you say I am.

SAME POWER by Jason Ingram & Jeremy Camp
I can see the waters raging at my feet.
I can feel the breath of those surrounding me.
I can hear the sound of nations rising up.
We will not be overtaken, we will not be overcome!

I can walk down this dark and painful road.
I can face ev’ry fear of the unknown.
I can hear all God’s children singing out:
We will not be overtaken, we will not be overcome!

The same power that raised Jesus from the grave,
The same power that commands the dead to wake,
Lives in us, lives in us!
The same power that moves mountains when He speaks,
The same power that can calm a raging sea,
Lives in us, lives in us! He lives in us, lives in us!

We have hope that His promises are true.
In His strength there is nothing we can’t do.
Yes. we know there are greater things in store.
We will not be overtaken, we will not be overcome!

Greater is He that is living in me!
He’s conquered our enemy!
No power of darkness, no weapon prevails.
We stand here in victory, in victory.

Scripture: Isaiah 6:1-8

SERMON: Laying It All Down
Luke 5:1-16, 27-32

ONE BIG IDEA: At the feet of Jesus and on the heels of Jesus are where we find life.

1) When we bow down, he lifts us up.

2) Jesus is willing and Jesus is able.

3) We must recognize how desperately we need repentance.

OVERCOME by Jeremy Camp
Seated above, enthroned in the Father’s love,
Destined to die, poured out for all mankind:
God’s only Son, perfect and spotless one!
He never sinned but suffered as if He did.

All authority, every victory is Yours!
All authority, every victory is Yours!

Savior, worthy of honor and glory,
Worthy of all our praise, You overcame, You overcame!
Jesus, awesome in power forever,
Awesome and great is Your name, You overcame!

Power in hand, speaking the Father’s plan,
You’re sending us out, light in this broken land.

We will overcome by the blood of the Lamb
And the word of our testimony! Everyone overcome!

Feel free to respond in prayer, aloud or silently, as the Lord leads.

GOD, YOU REIGN by Lincoln Brewster
You paint the night, you count the stars,
and you call them by name.
The skies proclaim, “God, you reign!”

Your glory shines, you teach the sun when to bring a new day.
Creation sings, “God, you reign!”

God, you reign, God, you reign, forever and ever! God, you reign!

You part the seas, you move the mountains
with the words that you say.
My song remains, “God, you reign!”

You hold my life, you know my heart, and you call me by name.
I live to say, “God, you reign!”

I know you reign, forever and ever! God, you reign!
Hallelujah, Hallelu! Hallelujah, Hallelu!
God, you reign, God, you reign, forever and ever! God, you reign!
