PSALM 103:1-5, 17-22
Bless the Lord, O My Soul
Of David.

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,
3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5 who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

17 The steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children’s children,
18 to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments.
19 The Lord has established his throne in the heavens,
and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word,
obeying the voice of his word!
21 Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers, who do his will!
22 Bless the Lord, all his works, in all places of his dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Come into His presence with thanksgiving
in your heart and give Him praise,
and give Him praise.
Come into His presence with thanksgiving
in your heart; your voices raise, your voices raise.
Give glory and honor and power unto Him,
Jesus, the name above all names.

GREAT AND MIGHTY IS HE by Todd Pettygrove
Great and mighty is He, great and mighty is He;
Clothed in glory, arrayed in splendor,
great and mighty is He. (Repeat.)
Let us lift His name up high, celebrate His grace;
For He has redeemed our lives,
and He reigns on high.

AH, LORD GOD (Jer. 32:17) by Kay Chance
Ah, Lord God, Thou hast made the heavens
and the earth by Thy great power;
Ah, Lord God, Thou hast made the heavens
and the earth by Thine outstretched arm.
Nothing is too difficult for Thee,
Nothing is too difficult for Thee.
Great and mighty God,
great in counsel and mighty in deed,
Nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing,
Nothing is too difficult for Thee.

REVELATION SONG by Jeremy Riddle
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain! Holy, holy is He!
Sing a new song to Him who sits on Heaven’s mercy seat.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,
Who was and is and is to come!
With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings:
You are my everything and I will adore You.

Clothed in rainbows of living color,
Flashes of lightning, rolls of thunder,
Blessing and honor, strength and glory and power be
To You, the only one who’s King!

Filled with wonder, awestruck wonder,
At the mention of Your name—
Jesus, Your name is power, breath and living water.
Such a marvelous mystery!

Scripture: Psalm 24

SERMON: The Kingdom Breaks Forth
Luke 4:31-44

ONE BIG IDEA—Jesus comes to show us the kingdom.

1) Jesus has all authority.

2) Jesus brings healing and hope.

3) Everyone needs to meet the King.

OUR GOD (IS GREATER) by Chris Tomlin
Water You turned into wine, opened the eyes of the blind—
There’s no one like You, none like You.

Into the darkness You shine, out of the ashes we rise—
There’s no one like You, none like You.

Our God is greater, our God is stronger.
God, You are higher than any other.
Our God is Healer, awesome in power:  Our God, Our God!

And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
What can stand against?

Feel free to respond in prayer, aloud or silently, as the Lord leads.

WORTHY IS THE LAMB by Darlene Zschech
Thank You for the cross, Lord, thank You for the price You paid,
Bearing all my sin and shame. In love You came and gave amazing grace.

Thank You for this love, Lord. Thank You for the nail-pierced hands,
Washed me in Your cleansing flow. Now all I know—
Your forgiveness and embrace.

Worthy is the Lamb seated on the throne;
We crown You now with many crowns!
You reign victorious high and lifted up,
Jesus Son of God, the darling of heaven crucified!
Worthy is the Lamb! Worthy is the Lamb!

Crown Him with many crowns, The Lamb upon His throne;
Hark!  How the heav’nly anthem drowns All music but its own!
Awake, my soul, and sing Of Him who died for thee,
And hail Him as thy matchless King Through all eternity.

Worthy is the Lamb….
